Jenni-Lyn Watson Body Found – The body of the woman from Liverpool, named Jenni-Lyn Watson, was found in Clay Central Park on Saturday morning according to police. Steven Piper was arrested on charged of second degree murder in connection to the disappearance of Watson. Since Watson disappeared last Friday, Piper has been interview by police several times. Piper had a history with the victim, dating her off and on for over a year.
Apparently Watson wanted to end the relationship, but Piper did not want that to happen, so an argument ensued, ultimately resulting in her death.
Piper who made a visit to Watson’s home on the morning she disappeared is expected to appear in court on Saturday evening for a preliminary hearing. Most people are expecting that no bail will be set because of the heinous nature of the crime. Police looked into Piper’s background, and although he does have previous offenses on his record, none of them suggested he might be violent.
On Sunday morning the autopsy of Watson will be performed by a medical examiner in order to determine what the exact cause of death is.
Officials said that when they arrived on the scene, there were no traces of blood and absolutely no signs that there was ever a struggle. Watson’s body was concealed behind a shed where officers found her.
