A recent story involving two twins, Jasmiyah and Tasmiyah, has shocked the country. The two sixteen year old girls called the police to report the murder of their mother in January. However, according to recent reports, the two young women have been arrested themselves for the murder of their mother, Jarmeca Whitehead, 34. Jarmeca was stabbed multiple times and was beaten to death in January. The two twins at the time had claimed that they had returned home from school, and had found their mother stabbed to death in the home.
In the days following her death, investigators announced that they were looking for a number of individuals who matched the descriptions that were given by her two daughters. Over the course of the several months of investigation, detectives learned several details regarding the young girls that have lead them to believe that the twins had killed their own mother.
Sources say that the girls were very upset about being placed back in their mother’s custody, and had been living with their great-grandmother since they were children. The boyfriend of their mother, Robert Head, said that he was not all that surprised to hear that the two of them had been arrested, but refused to believe that it had been their own idea to kill their mother. He suggested that another family member may have been involved, saying that the twins loved their mother, and may have been caught in a bad situation.
The 16 year olds will be tried as adults when they enter criminal court.

This is a very sad situation. Unless it was self defense there is no excuse. Hard to believe that twins would kill their own mother, something they will have to live with the rest of their lives. Don’t think Georgia has the death penalty.

Are you serious? I believe those little hood rats need to be put under the prison. They have been trouble makers for years which is why they were taken from the mother in the first place. She (mother) reached for help from the system only to have them returned to her. The system failed thet children and the mother, but the girls have one thing the mother doesn’t…their life

Totally horrible! It doesn’t even matter the reason why they did it, they did it, and that’s horrible enough! Their own mother! It makes you think that the world is surely coming to an end in a very violent way! Parents can’t even feel safe around their own kids!

Yeah, the supposed family member appears to be the girls’ great grandmother whom they refer to as grandmother. They lived with their great grandmother and not the grandmother as this story suggests. This information was obtained from a radio station interview of the actual grandmother of the girls

So, so sad. From reports, their own grandmother stated that there were definetely signs that these girls were violent. In 2008, they both were placed in the great grandmother’s home, at the deceased request, because she was afraid to have them continue living with her. They wanted to use their cellphone and the mom wouldn’t allow them to. So, they overpowered her,dragged their mother around leaving bruises and scars, according to the police report.So,the police arrested the girls for battery. This mother knew and loved her girls, so there had to be other violent incidences to motivated her to have them removed. So, so sad.
Georgia does have the death penalty but not for those under age 18.
This story is all so common now a days, because the world as we know it is coming to an end, and not in the sense of it not being here, but the wicked ones will not remain, and the earth will go back to the way God intended it to be. The bible tells us that in the last days men will become lovers of themselves. This is a prime example of the devils works and how he get people minds so twisted up that children could actually commit murder of someone who was trying to raise them up and love them. Apparently the mother loved her children to want them back in her custody, because she could’ve went on with her life, but loving kids that hated her resulted in a beautiful life lost. The boyfriend commented that these children loved their mom and someone put them up to doing this, well my arugment is that these children are old enough to know right from wrong and the consequences of murder, so they was aware of what they did if they did murder their mom. I never known love to make someone kill the person they love! If you know the true meaning of that word it would be impossible to do this act. Reports from friends of the family states that these teens hated their mom and was verberly abusive towards Nikki. That doesn’t mean that they killed her, but it shows the lack of love and respect that they had for their mother. The only good thing is that Nikki has a chance to live again in perfection in the time of resurrection because that is what the bible says and God cannot tell a lie. In a short time we will see his glory!
The other family member they are speeking of is the great-grandma she had them for two years prior to the incident.
i, myself, went to school with these girls and can honestly say i don’t believe they commited this crime. The twins were simple, nice and intelligent. We have yet to hear THEIR side of the story. so keep that in mind before you condemn them.

My prayers go out to this family and to these young girls. It is a sad situation and if these young girls committed this crime it will be two more young lives sent to prison. It is time for all of us as adults to do a self check and think about our children. I’m a 36 year old parent of 4 and I have strong family values. I believe having control and setting a good example for my kids to follow. Remember parents, be mindful of your behavior and the company that you have around your children because criminal behavior is a learned behavior. Most children become who they are from the role of the parents. Also, let us not try to be our children friend and be parents. We should never have fear for what our children may do to us; they should have fear for what we will do to them. Most parents are too young and it plays a big role in children lives. It is hard for parents that are young to set a good example because they still have a lot immaturity themselves and when they do mature over the years their children behavior is too out of control to correct. God be with this family and these young ladies.

This is a horrible tragedy, and whoever did this should have to pay the ultimate penalty!! I do believe we need to let this play out and have a thorough investigation to make sure it is indeed these young girls. Lets not be too quick to condemn and judge! You should always be innocent until proven guilty, one never knows if they may end up in something they did not do and please believe you would want others to hold off judgement before just throwing you under the bus! One thing is for sure, the ALMIGHTY God knows who did this and they will pay for it! Everything has a consequence!

Realistic The truth is still not told…The bible also ask the parent to not push your child to resent you. Love is lead by example and training the child as he/she should go, not be a dictator. We have to teach and ask God for the wisdom for ourselves first, than the children/family . Most of the time parents do not know why they are parents, Just want a baby. because the price/deposit is right a the time, and boom here is the responsiblity. We keep saying this is sad and this is horrible, but how many of us protest the violence our young people are subjected to in videos and TV everyday. Children see so much death and killing that they are becoming desensitized to the taking of a life.
So if you said,”this is horrible, or this is sad” think about it the next time you sit and watch a rap video with your children, CSI or any of the numerous violent scenes on TV.
