Sarah Palin Defends Bristol & Willow Facebook Anti-Gay Rant – Many people were wondering what were Sarah Palin’s thoughts on her 16 year old daughter Willow’s decision to blast those who criticized her family’s reality show Sarah Palin’s Alaska by calling them “faggot” “gay” and “queer” on Facebook – well Mrs Palin addressed the the situation over the weekend.
During an appearance on Sean Hannity’s show on Fox News, Palin defended her teenage daughter’s actions explaining that she is the real bullying victim and once more blamed the media for publishing the story.
The former governor said:
“People probably think that my greatest frustration is the lies that are told in the tabloids and on hateful blogs full of anonymous sources about my family,and there are constant everyday lies that we have to read that are out there in the public. But my family and I…thick skin…we can take it, you know…we can take what the haters say despite the fact that there’s injustice in the situation. I mean, look at the other day. Willow, finally, my 16 year old, she had had it up to here with somebody saying very, very hateful things about the family and saying mean things about her little brother Trig, and Willow finally responded and she used a bad word when she responded in defense of her family. And her response became national news, even hard news copy it turned into, so that’s ridiculous and I had to explain to her, ‘Willow, there is no justice here but you have to just zip your lip and let’s move forward.’”
Expect gay activists to step out and blast the Palins for not condemning the usage of several homophobic slurs by Willow which will push Sarah Palin to use all media at her disposal, from Twitter to Facebook to television and books to defend her love ones.
As Jon Stewart puts it -the “media circus around the Palin family” will never end.

For a family that supposedly has “think skin” the responses by all family members is very thin skinned!
The media circus surrounding the Palins is just that a circus. But in a world of celebrities, what can you expect. I, for one, hope that the media just stops covering them. The sooner they lose that attention the sooner the rest of us can get back to a state of semi-sanity
