Twilight is a very touchy subject for many of their fans. Emma Roberts recently found that out as well, when she was forced to delete her Twitter page after she received a lot of insults from Robert Pattinson fans after saying that she was a part of “team Jacob” during a recent interview. She had appeared with Pattinson on The Tonight Show. Jay Leno had asked her if she was with Edward Cullen or if she was with Jacob Black, which are the two characters who battle one another in the Twilight saga. Despite the fact that Pattinson was sitting right next to her, she readily admitted that she was rooting for the other team, who is played by Taylor Lautner.
It proved to be a very serious mistake for her, as she would have to delete her Twitter account just hours later after she received a barrage of attacks from Pattinson fans who were in a rage over the recent comments by Roberts. She apologized to Pattinson, who was sitting next to her. He replied jokingly to what she had said, and seemed not to care.
However, a number of his fans did.
“Rob Pattinson is so nice! I was slightly disappointed his skin wasn’t glittering and the song “Wild Thing” didn’t start when he shook my hand,” Roberts tweeted after appearing on the Tonight Show. She would later have to delete that same account after she could not fend of the legions of fans who were attacking her on the Twitter service.

Twiitter fans weren’t upset that she’s Team Jacob. Lots of people are Team Jacob and the fans have never attacked them. They attacked this biatch because she’s rude and has no class.

It was because she was so rude to him on the show – she dissed him. He was so nice on the show. He was so funny he was joking he didn;t care she was team Jacob neither did the fans. Wish the fans wouldn’t have done that now this story won’t stop!
excuse me she was not rude at all. and he joked back to her that she had no taste. as a freaking joke. and she joked back that she had to sit by him. she didnt look uncomfortable. she seemed like she liked him. you are just another twilight fan pissed about her saying team jacob. she acted like any normal human being, but you have to diss her cause she is a celeb. people like you disgust me. It is not that she chose Jacob, it was how she did it and what she said after he made the comment about her not having any taste (jokingly) she didn’t want to sit by him any longer and her body language was very standoffish as well. She didn’t get that he was just teasing with her and she took offense to his comment. I felt bad for Robert, he was just kidding around with her and she took it way to seriously. Maybe she’s just to young to get it and doesn’t read body language well. Too bad, it made everyone uncomfortable. She went on the defensive immediately.
She elected to delete her account. She received a lot of comments regarding her behavior that night – positive too. She wasn’t forced to. You can check the record of it. It’s really not how you’ve reported it here. I don’t agree with your article assertion that the matter has much to do with Twi fans, threats or Team anyone based on it.
I am no Twilight fan. This person, Emma Roberts, was cold to Robert from the start of the interview. It had nothing to do with what team she said she was on. I noticed her rudeness enough to comment about it, because I could care less about this stuff and I am sure Robert doesn’t either.

Sorry – but ms Roberts was REALLY offensive and rude – and ON PURPOSE! She belittled Rob in front of his parents and the nation. It’s one thing to dislike a character in a book – it’s another to put down an actor who is there to promote the movie he’s been working on – just like SHE was there – to plug her little nothing of a movie – right? One should be polite and NOT respond – if one has an unfavorable opinion about the actor sitting right there, minding his business. Ms Roberts thinks she owns the world because she’s related to a known actress – but she, herself, is not really talented and not entitled to be rude to a fellow actor. I’m glad she’s gone from Twitter. I for one will NOT watch ANY of her silly movies.

I’m not a huge Twilight fan but i am for Team Jacob all the way. I’ve seen the movies with my daughter and Jacob seems to care for and love Bella better than Edward. Everything about this article is WRONG! I’m not team anyone and I don’t think people care one bit what team she is on but I saw this interview and she was just plain rude. It was really uncomfortable to watch because I kept thinking she would laugh and smooth it over but she didn’t. I have watched Leno for a long time and I can’t recall seeing one guest be so unfriendly to another before. She needs to grow up and learn some manners no matter what “team” she is on.
Anyone who watched the show saw that it was all just in good fun. No harm no foul…..no need to send the girl death threats; or any kind of threat for that matter!! It’s time to get a life folks!!!!
